An analysis of the CHEMO-SUPPORT intervention, designed to reduce the chemotherapy-related symptom burden, showed patients rated a brochure as the most helpful component, compared with on-call and online nursing services, according to a study in the European Journal of Oncology Nursing. Patients also gave high marks to counseling sessions at the start of chemotherapy and telephone counseling over the first days at home.
