Offering complimentary rideshare transportation services to Medicaid patients did not reduce the volume of missed primary care appointments, researchers reported in JAMA Internal Medicine. Only 26% of patients in the intervention arm of the study took advantage of the rideshare offer, and the missed appointment rates for the intervention and control groups were 36.5% and 36.7% respectively.
