Jordanian researchers found that EHRs were better in terms of process and structure than paper-based health records, but paper-based health records were better in terms of the quality and quantity of content. The findings in the Journal of Clinical Nursing, based on 434 paper-based records and EHRs, revealed that nurses have poor knowledge and skills with regard to the nursing process and its application in both EHR systems and paper-based health records.
