Data from the American Cancer Society found liver cancer mortality in the US has doubled since the mid-1980s and is increasing at a faster pace than for any other cancer. The report in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians found incidence and mortality rates were higher for men than women, and some 60% of cases are linked to potentially modifiable risk factors.
