Sections of routes 2018 and 2012 in Pennsylvania's Armstrong County have been resurfaced with a 3-inch lift of recycled asphalt. The state's Department of Transportation says the 3-inch recycled asphalt lift is a more cost-effective way to resurface secondary roads than is using 2 inches of new asphalt.
