Magellan Midstream Partners has launched an open season to assess customer interest in a proposed pipeline connecting the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford Shale to markets in Houston and Corpus Christi, Texas. Nearly 650 miles of pipeline is expected to cost more than $1 billion to build, and its eventual capacity would likely range between 350,000 and 600,000 barrels per day for each city.
