Asia's glaciers could lose one-third of their ice by the end of the century even if steps are taken to limit global warming to less than 1.5 degrees Celsius, per a study led by geographer Philip Kraaijenbrink of the University of Utrecht. The researchers compared 110 climate simulations to reach their conclusions.
