The Environmental Protection Agency on Tuesday proposed a two-year stay on an Obama-era methane pollution rule as it reviews the regulation. The oil and gas industry is against the rule, claiming it's costly, mirrors existing state laws and is unnecessary because methane gas emissions have decreased.
