Manitoba Pork issues biosecurity tips for pork producers

Manitoba Pork is asking pork producers to control entry into their yards to prevent pathogens from getting into barns. When possible, services should be provided off-site or outside the controlled access zone, on-site services should be performed efficiently, and vehicles should be kept out of the yard, says Mark Fynn, Manitoba Pork's manager of quality assurance and animal care programs.
