Colorado State University veterinarians and veterinary students provided dental care for the horses at Harmony Equine Center this week. The teams floated the horses' teeth, which means they filed down sharp points that cause pain and interfere with eating, a process that veterinarian Luke Bass said is not painful, because there are no nerve endings in the areas being filed.
