Owners of dogs in Maine that have been deemed dangerous by a judge will be required to pay $100 for a license and obtain a special tag, effective Aug. 1. Owners of dogs that have been deemed a nuisance by a court will have to pay a $30 registration fee and obtain a regular tag.
