A 9-week-old Sumatran tiger cub whose mother became aggressive with him was flown from the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, Calif., as a potential companion to a tiger cub that was seized at a border crossing from Mexico. The two bonded and soon began rough-housing like littermates.
