Legislators are expressing doubt that Maine Gov. Paul LePage will succeed in banning mini liquor bottles known as "nips" in the state after the Maine House and Senate voted to override his veto of a five-cent bottle deposit on the containers. If the governor's pledge to ban the miniature bottles fails, the new bottle deposit is scheduled to go into effect in January 2019.
