Report: Consumer interest to drive higher market share for premium food, drinks

As consumers seek more premium food and beverage products, producers should consider renovating, innovating or making acquisitions to boost their premium offerings, say executives with the Hartman Group. "Premium currently represents 9% of the overall food and beverage marketplace, and we believe ... within the next decade that will probably double," said CEO Laurie Demeritt.
