The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation is sending about $1 billion in rebates to public and private employers in the state to use for employee safety programs or other purposes. Spokeswoman Melissa Vince said the bureau also is planning a $44 million investment in health and safety initiatives, including a new wellness program.
