New Orleans sees opportunity to rebuild community's reputation
As New Orleans moves ahead to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina, the city sees the effort as a unique chance to rebuild a community with a previously strong reputation for corruption, crime and poor schools. Outside investors have long steered clear of the city due to the reputation, but business leaders say they hope to change all of that and that there is a new attitude of doing what's best for the city, and not what's best for an individual business or deal.
