Emerald Park in Ireland reveals more details about new land
(Emerald Parks)
"The Quest" family boomerang roller coaster and the "Na Fianna Force" roller coaster will form part of the new Tir Na nOg land opening next month at Emerald Park in County Meath, Ireland. The new 6.5-acre land will also house "The Celtic Dreamer" attraction, retail spaces and food outlets.

The new Salisbury Aquatic Centre in South Australia is scheduled to debut on June 24. The facility will feature a 50-meter outdoor pool, a water play area, a splash pad, a triple water slide tower, a health club and two indoor pools.

Family Entertainment Centers
The new Indy SkyTrack attraction is expected to open on May 3 at C.J. Barrymore's in Clinton Township, Michigan, to coincide with the amusement center's 50th anniversary celebration. The three-story go-kart track requires riders to be at least 60 inches tall, but there are no age limitations.

Destination Golf in Basildon, England, is changing its name to Glo-Bar & Golf. The mini-golf course also submitted a request to Basildon Council for an alcohol license and announced plans to upgrade the facility to include new attractions such as a lounge area and an arcade.

Zoos and Aquariums
Zoo Midland was recently granted a Specific Use Designation without Term for a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Midland, Texas. The center will serve as an off-site area for receiving animals, space for food preparation and a greenhouse to produce food for the animals. The zoo will be built at the former site of Nueva Vista Golf Course, with work expected to start in June to allow for an opening in 2027.

The Friends of Oxbow nonprofit organization has met its fundraising target of $1 million to support Oxbow Park & Zollman Zoo in Byron, Minnesota. The project also received support through funding from the American Rescue Plan Act and a Greater Minnesota Parks and Trails grant.

The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology in Syracuse, New York, is set to undergo major upgrades following an almost $3 million grant. The project will include the transformation of the museum's eastern section into a STEAM education area, as well as the addition of an elevator and upgrades to mechanical, plumbing and other support systems.
