Google aims new mobile ad units at brand advertisers
Google is aiming to bring more brand advertisers to mobile with the creation of four new ad units for smartphones and tablets, three of which take over the entire screen. The ad formats are "similar to what people are used to on TV" in that they are meant to appear during natural breaks in application usage, said Google's Jonathan Alferness.
