- Speculation is rife over new Google mobile devices
Google renewed speculation Tuesday about plans to build a "Google X" phone and tablet after executives referred to the impending fruition of Motorola Mobility's 12- to 18-month product pipeline. "[T]his device deserved a battery that could keep the large 5-inch screen running strong all day," LG Electronics' Ken Hong said about the Optimus G Pro, which will go on sale in Japan in April. Chipmakers are also working on extending battery lives through the development of more energy-efficient processors. PCWorld/IDG News Service
