- Survey looks at VMware clients' security-update responses
Two-thirds of VMware customers stay relatively current on security patches, but 33% disregard them or routinely fall behind on updates, a company survey indicates. "We are considering some initiatives to increase awareness of security updates, as well as the potential for product improvements to reduce the burden of keeping up to date on security," the vendor wrote in a blog post. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has instructed all employees that they must now come to the office for work in a step meant to encourage face-to-face collaboration and innovation.
