The Most Promising Minority Students Program connects the advertising industry with the nation's most talented minority students. Each year, college seniors are nominated by their AAF college chapter advisers in recognition of their passion for advertising and outstanding achievements both inside and outside the classroom. This year's finalists will spend three days in New York City where they will have the chance to participate in career development workshops, networking, interviewing and industry immersion opportunities.
The program will take place from Feb. 3 to 5, 2009, at the New York Athletic Club. The 2009 class of Most Promising Minority Students will be honored at the Building Bridges for Our Future Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009. For more information on the Most Promising Minority Students Program or for tickets and sponsorships, please visit www.aaf.org/mpms.

Seeking Advertising Agencies and Diverse Vendors
AAF SmartBrief | Dec 18, 2008
The Mosaic Vendor Fair attracts diverse vendors whose goods and services fit the needs of advertising, marketing, media and communications companies. The event begins with two workshops, each addressing tactics that agencies and minority vendors can use to build working relationships with one another. In the afternoon, pre-identified vendors are matched with agencies to participate in 15-minute one-on-one matchmaking sessions in which vendors have the opportunity to present their capabilities in a private setting. The day concludes with a networking reception and vendor fair designed to encourage partnerships between industry organizations and diverse vendors. Last year's fair welcomed 250 participants representing sponsors, panelists, exhibitors, vendors and corporations/agencies.
The 2009 Mosaic Vendor Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 31, at the New York Athletic Club. For more information on the Mosaic Vendor Fair, please visit www.aaf.org/vendorfair.
