Damon's chain files for bankruptcy reorganization The restaurant chain Damon's International has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, just days after another chain owned by the same Pittsburgh-based company submitted its filing. Both Damons and Max & Erma's Inc., which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week, were bought in 2008 by G&R Acquisitions, led by Gary Reinert Sr. Both were based in Columbus, Ohio.

You may not know where you're headed, but Garmin can tell you where you are. The company manufactures navigation products that use global positioning system (GPS) technology to wirelessly deliver geographic location data through satellite communications. Its portable products incorporate electronic maps and navigational charts. Garmin also makes communications devices which combine cellular and GPS technology. Boat maker Ranger and airplane maker New Piper incorporate Garmin equipment into their vehicles. The company sells its consumer products through retailers including Bass Pro Shops, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart. Chairman and CEO Min Kao owns about 23% of Garmin.
