Study: Netbook shipments hit 38 million in Q2
Shipments of netbook computers increased to 38 million units in the second quarter of this year, a 40% spike from the first quarter, according to new figures from DisplaySearch. In its "Quarterly Notebook PC Shipment and Forecast Report," DisplaySearch went on to say that netbooks' market share now is 22.2%, compared with 5.6% in the second quarter of 2008.
