Palm is trying hard to reverse its loosening grip on the mobile communications market. Historically the leading provider of handheld computers, the company now primarily markets Internet-enabled mobile phones (also known as smart phones). Its phone line includes the entry-level Centro and more advanced Treo and Pre lines.
