Comcast Said To Be Close To Gaining NBC Universal

Sources told The New York Times a formal announcement between General Electric and Comcast may be announced this week giving Comcast control of NBC Universal. Sources said the companies reached a tentative deal on Friday which gives Comcast a 51% stake, depending on what Vivendi decides to do with its 20%.
