The most likely search company to acquire or invest in IAC/InterActiveCorp's Ask.com is Microsoft Corp., which reportedly is looking to increase its search footprint, according to this article. The speculation over Ask.com's future has intensified since Tuesday, when IAC Chairman Barry Diller, in a call with analysts, described the search segment as "challenging" and one with a "speculative" future.
