NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures declined early Wednesday after reports showing U.S. housing starts fell sharply in October while consumer prices rose 0.3%. Up modestly ahead of the data, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were off 12 points to 10,386.. Those for the S&P 500 declined 1.6 points to 1,105.8, while Nasdaq 100 futures dipped 5.25 points to 1,803.50.
