Its Atlas unit provides marketing software which allows clients to manage digital campaigns. Through subsidiaries such as DRIVEpm and Mediabrokers, aQuantive's third business line buys blocks of online media advertising to resell on a targeted basis. In August 2007, Microsoft acquired aQuantive for $6 billion.
