Microsoft and Yahoo's search-and-advertising agreement received a thumbs-up from the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA), which includes Publicis Groupe S.A., which just finalized a deal to acquire Microsoft subsidiary Razorfish for $286.8 million and 6.5 million shares of stock. The U.S. Department of Justice is conducting an antitrust evaluation of the Microsoft-Yahoo deal, still on track to finalize in early 2010.

Services include online media buying and planning, ad campaign management, e-mail direct marketing, search engine optimization, and data warehousing and analysis. Its Atlas unit provides marketing software which allows clients to manage digital campaigns. Through subsidiaries such as DRIVEpm and Mediabrokers, aQuantive's third business line buys blocks of online media advertising to resell on a targeted basis.
