For Cable and Wireless, the more things change, the more things stay the same. The company still provides telecom services some 80 years after its founding. It operates through two business units, Worldwide (active in 153 countries), and CWI (active in the Caribbean, Macao, Monaco, Panama, and several island nations). Worldwide offers Internet, data, voice, and hosting services mainly to corporations, resellers, and other carriers, while CWI provides fixed-line and mobile voice and data services to consumers and businesses primarily in former British colonies.
