Lucent wins big IPTV deal with Telefonica
Lucent Technologies won a contract with Telefonica to develop and deploy the Spanish carrier's IPTV middleware platform. Under the deal, Lucent will be charged with introducing new features, as well as marketing the technology to service providers. Lucent also will serve as the network integrator for Telefonica's IPTV solution.
