NBCU, affiliates to launch broadband venture

NBC Universal and its affiliates are teaming up to create The National Broadband Co., which will market video to Web portals and for syndication. The new company, majority owned by NBC Universal, will feature hundreds of hours of video created daily by affiliate newscasts and other video.
