Comcast: WiMAX to snare "lapsed" or potential DSL subs

Comcast new wireless service will likely attract "lapsed DSL customers or customers who otherwise potentially would be getting DSL," Steve Burke, the cable company's chief operating officer, said Thursday. Burke outlined Comcast's plans to resell Clearwire's WiMAX service to its subscribers in Atlanta and Portland, Ore.
