Report indicates strong VoIP market

The overall IP voice market rose approximately 6% in the second quarter of 2006, and shipments of IP phones jumped 17%, according to Infonetics Research. Revenues from next-generation voice and intelligent IMS are expected to grow from $2.5 billion last year to $5.8 billion in 2009, the report said.
