Telstra competitors propose joint high-speed network
A consortium of seven Telstra rivals has proposed building a US$2.2 billion fiber-optic network with Telstra, even though Telstra is moving ahead with a network of its own. Under the plan, all the telecoms would have equal access to the network and would pay the same access price.
