DSL gains subscribers, but lags in revenue per user

A new report shows that DSL providers have added about 200,000 more broadband customers per quarter in the past year than their cable rivals. But that success has come at a price -- average revenue per DSL customer in the first quarter of 2006 is $34, well below the $41 per cable broadband user.
