Verizon's FiOS likely to enter Pittsburgh TV market

Verizon Communications and Pittsburgh officials have reached a deal that, if approved by the City Council, will allow the telecom to offer its FiOS-TV service there. Pittsburgh's multichannel needs have been handled by Comcast, which is in the final year of a 10-year contract with the city.
