AT&T: U-verse broadband will compete on service, mobility
AT&T has begun to offer its U-verse broadband service as a stand-alone product, and the telecom has eventual plans to present a DSL/wireless bundle, the head of AT&T Operations said at an analysts conference Wednesday. AT&T Operations CEO John Stankey said the company did not feel it needed to increase its data speeds, saying: "We'll compete on the effectiveness of bundle and mobility of the bundle."
