Ads to appear on Verizon mobile phones
Verizon Wireless early next year will allow the placement of banner ads on news, weather, sports and other Web sites users access on their phones. Advertisers are expected to spend $150 million on such advertising in 2006, and that figure could reach $1.3 billion by 2010, Ovum Research predicts.
