Report: Router sales jump, switch sales fall
Global sales of routers and switches increased 37% between 2002 and 2005, while multi-service switch sales fell by 5%, according to a report by Infonetics. In terms of market share, routers today comprise 75% of switch/router sales, up from 47% in 2000, according to the report.
