The Federal Aviation Administration is ready to approve the battery fix for the Boeing 787, sources said. "It's a very big deal," said Michael Derchin, an analyst at CRT Capital Group in Stamford, Conn., who has a buy rating on Boeing. "Everybody's life has been on hold since it occurred," he said about the grounding of the 787 fleet.
