Korean scientists produce fuel from microorganisms
Scientists from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology say they have developed a highly efficient method of producing butanol from biomass and specific bacteria. Butanol is an industrial solvent that can also serve as an alternative fuel due to its many properties similar to gasoline.
