Despite attire that might inhibit another competitor, however, Krause welcomes the challenge and knows he’ll be running for a worthy cause.

Thanks to Krause’s generosity, SnoreStop’s entire $9,000 bid will be donated to the Macha Innovative Christian School (MICS) in Macha, Zambia, a much-needed elementary school founded by his parents in 2005.

As part of his training for the November 2 New York marathon, Krause (who lives in Chicago) will be clad in SnoreStop pajamas during the Chicago Distance Classic Half Marathon Sunday, August 10; and during the Nike Human Race being run in 25 cities worldwide August 31.
