How New York's digital agencies weathered the superstorm
Digital agencies in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn were hit hard by Superstorm Sandy, with flooding, power outages, and transportation and communication disruptions making it hard for staffers to do their jobs. Marketers are coping by using improvised office spaces and relying on e-mail to communicate with clients and colleagues. "While we are not able to physically be in the office due to the outage, we're able to conduct business as usual and stay in touch with all our clients," says Dan LaCivita of Tribeca-based Firstborn.
