CBS sets a record-high spot price for sold-out Super Bowl
The 2013 Super Bowl is sold out as far as advertising slots are concerned, says CBS chief executive Leslie Moonves. The Feb. 3 telecast will fetch an average of $3.7 million to $3.8 million per 30-second spot, a new high, with some advertisers topping $4 million for a spot. Last year's game attracted an average of about 111 million viewers.
