Consumers tie holiday shopping habits to online prices
Consumer resistance to price differences between items bought online and in the store is stiffening. Nearly 9 in 10 consumers say they price-shop gift items online, and more than half of shoppers say they won't make an in-store purchase if prices don't match up with online competitors, according to a SteelHouse survey.
