AANP Conference Run/Walk to benefit Kids in the Kitchen, Orlando

Join your colleagues as part of the conference's 5K Fun Run/Walk on June 23 to be held in Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake. Transportation will be provided to and from the park with buses departing the convention center west building between 5:15 a.m. and 5:25 a.m. and departing the park as each bus fills post-run. The race will be timed. The first five female and first five male participants to complete the race will be recognized at the conference closing session on June 24, 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Each participant will receive their race time. Due to the need for bus transportation, run registration will be available only before the conference this year. Register by June 10 to participate in this year's run! A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Kids in the Kitchen, Orlando, a Junior League initiative designed to help communities address the urgent issues surrounding childhood obesity and the need for nutrition education. The Orlando program is one of the largest in the United States. Entry fee is only $30 per participant and includes the official Fun Run/Walk T-shirt. If you are bringing family or friends with you to Orlando, you are encouraged to also register those over the age of 12 who wish to participate.
