Study links insomnia to higher risk of heart attack, stroke
Researchers looked at data on 43,000 people ages 45 and older in Taiwan and found that those who had insomnia faced about a twofold higher risk of heart attack or stroke than those who didn't have insomnia. The findings were to be reported at the American Heart Association meeting.
