ADHD drugs don't put children at greater risk for heart problems
Children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder who were treated with stimulant drugs did not have a greater short-term risk of experiencing a severe cardiac episode than their peers, a review found. The findings, based on data from 1.2 million Medicaid-enrolled youths, were published in the British Medical Journal.
