Deadline for states to file exchange plans moved to Dec. 14
The Obama administration extended from Nov. 16 to Dec. 14 the deadline for states to submit their plans for health insurance exchanges. Many states requested more time, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a letter to governors. Meanwhile, states that want to partner with the federal government to run exchanges can file applications until Feb. 15, Sebelius said.
